Instructors teaching a group of young sailors

Summer Programs

Sunshine, salty breezes, and big smiles all summer long

Summer at Edison Sailing Center is packed with sunshine, salty breezes, and big smiles. Our programs welcome young adventurers of all experience levels, starting with Minnows (ages 5-7), where little sailors splash into the basics through games, exploration, and confidence-building fun. Youth Sailing (ages 8-13) takes learning to the next level with hands-on sailing, teamwork, and problem-solving on the water, while our High School Sailing (grades 8-12) program gives teens the chance to sharpen their skills, step into leadership roles, and sail with independence. We also offer Powerboat Safety classes for ages 10-15, teaching essential boating skills and safety in an engaging, age-appropriate way. Every day is fueled by adventure, friendship, and learning—rooted in our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience—making summer at ESC one kids won't forget.
